Meet the team:
Haley Nixon, President
For Haley, it’s all about trusting the process: taking a project from beginning to end, while learning a thing or two along the way. One of her favorite mantras, “Sometimes the details do matter,” is especially true when it comes to accounting and finance. Haley excels (pun intended) in enhanced financial reporting, system implementations, merging acquisitions into business and financial systems. One of her strongest attributes and an important value-add is her familiarity working with auditors, tax preparers, banks, attorneys, and other third parties to maximize efficiencies and minimize costs. In short, she helps companies take things to the next level.
Haley has vast industry experience and knowledge in engineering, manufacturing, logistics, international commerce, and automotive supply/manufacturing. With extensive experience in accounting, Haley has recently turned her focus to finance, where she has served as an Auditor, Corporate Controller, VP of Technical Accounting, VP of Accounting, and Finance Director.
Haley holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri-Columbia and an CPA license in Missouri (currently not active). She enjoys spending time with her family, staying physically active and giving back to the community. She volunteers her time as an assistant volleyball coach and full-time pro-bono transportation liaison (aka, being mom).
Jon Nixon, CEO
Jon takes a ground-up approach when approaching any new venture, because an organization is only as solid as the foundation will allow. It’s an approach that has proved successful throughout his career in a variety of industries including, but not limited to, alternative energy, software as a service, audit and attestation, and wholesale/retail parts.
With over 15 years of accounting experience and over 10 years in upper management, Jon has had significant exposure to the operations and back-office support structure. His industry expertise includes analyzing and preparing financial statements, industrial processing systems, conveying systems and storage systems. Additionally, he has served as the Corporate Representative on numerous legal disputes.
Jon holds a CPA license from the state of Missouri (currently not active), a Master of business administration from the University of Missouri – Kansas City, and a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of San Diego. Jon resides in Kansas City, MO with his wife, Haley, and their two children.
He is an avid soccer coach and golfer, enjoys traveling with his family, staying active and, most of all, spreadsheets!
